The biggest reason I can think of to get a gas credit card is that you're going to get gas anyway, so why not get some great rewards for your purchases? Gas is just plain expensive, but if you have to buy it, at least get the best reward you can.

Personally, another big reason to get one of these cards is if you don't currently have a MasterCard, Discover, Visa, or American Express card. In my case, my only Visa card was a debit card, and I didn't feel great about using that online and at some other places that only took Visa.
I knew I had to get another credit card, so I took advantage of that opportunity to get one of these gas cards, and I'm glad I did.
Next time you're at the pump, if you don't have one of these gas cards, just think about the rewards you are missing out on. Then come back to this site and apply for the best one for you.
